Great at washing carpets and upholstery - you slowly move the appliance across your carpets and the nylon brushes agitate the carpet pile, cleaning as you go and removing the dirt. It’s a multi-purpose cleaner so it can be used in your car, on your upholstery and the stairs - it extracts the water as it cleans so your carpets dry pretty fast. Pre-cleaning kit included. We used the machine twice and it did a great job both times - before we decided to replace our carpets with wooden flooring! Because of this lack of use, the machine and all it’s attachments are in a vitually new condition. You'll have to buy the detergent that the machine uses though - for some reason we can't find the bottle that came with it.
